Day 9 of hiking-13 miles Najera to Santo Domingo

Hot, hot, hot sun today. I immediately went to my hotel and took a shower and rested. 6 am to 1:00 pm time hiking. Up and down hills through wine country. Found a fine dining restaurant and had small leg of lamb. The best lamb I ever ate. Also white asparagus, which is popular and grown right here. I am now happy, happy, happy.

Every day I have to book another hotel for the next night and then call baggage transport to transport my bag To that hotel the next day.

I am meeting a lot of interesting people along the way.

Tomorrow is Day 10 – leave Santo Domingo to Belorado – 15 miles.

Every day is different. The terrain is so diverse.

I am now the proud owner of my own hiking sticks. That will help with the walking.

So glad I brought my health food stuff, because it is keeping my digestion in balance.

Remember those of you who are spiritually praying and walking with me, take a moment or more each day and pray for yourself and others by simply saying, God help them, God help me, God forgive me for what I have done wrong and God help me forgive and let go of those who have harmed me.

We are connecting to our creator and to divine power, love, forgiveness. Keep it up and I believe you will experience the miracles I will receive when I walk through the Holy Door in Santiago.

Really tired. Need to get some sleep. love you all.

Happy, Joyous and Free. Enjoying life and retirement. Oct 5, 202, I completed the FEl Camino de Santiago de Frances, over 550 miles, beginning August 15, 2021 in St-Jean-Pied-De-Port, France and ending in Santiago and walked through the Holy Door. I am 70 year young. Read about some of my adventures. I have a close relationship with my Higher Power, whom I choose to call God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Spiritual growth and enlightenment are my priorities in life. Please jump on the spiritual soul train with me as I walk and try to practice a spiritual way of life. Esther Mae

  1. Please pray for my sisters grandson Joey who is a Marine at the Kabul airport. And all those who lost their lives and their families. The list goes on and on. God bless you Esther.
