Arrived in Logrono 17 miles

Hola from the Camino Trail. I now feel like an official pelligrino (pilgrim). Most days we walk and hike over 15 miles a day. 7th day today of hiking. 7th of 30 days. I may take some days off to rest. If I do that I will miss the regulars that cheer me on.

I haven’t written much each day because first of all, I get really tired. Then issues with language. Then need to reserve room for next place, which takes time.

In regards to lodging. I started out in what we call hostels and in Spain they call albergue. Well more power to those that choose this type of lodging. People snoring so loud you would think the building was going to collapse.

After walking in hot sun and walking up and down mountains, I needed a good night’s sleep.

No more men and women sharing bathrooms and of course you will always find the kind of personality that strut around in their tight underwear. Really!

This man starts snoring so loud. I hear what sound like rain. I look up and see someone leaning over the balcony with their hose to their backpack water pack and kept spraying the snorer on his sleeping bag. I wanted to burst out laughing. He kept it up for about 10 minutes. Needless to say, he did not stop snoring.

When I get back I will write in depth all about my spiritual growth and lessons.

Had no use of cellphone for days because no place sold SIM cards for Spain. Finally connected to the world.

Ok close to 7:00 pm. Now Spain opens up after their siesta. Going to get a good meal. I will be in Nájera tomorrow after walking 18.4 miles.

Keep praying for me. Love you all. Remember if you are spiritually walking with me, you need to do your part and keep praying your prayers for yourself and for others and asking God for love, forgiveness and mercy and miracles.
